IHOP opened its first branch in the Philippines, at the Bonifacio Global City to be exact, a year ago and it was met with open arms, hearts, and tummies by Filipinos who absolutely love breakfast.
In celebration and recognition of this, IHOP will start offering Filipino breakfast favorites to go along with the existing instant hits such as pancakes, omelettes, stuffed French toasts, and crepes.
Starting March 17, you can now enjoy Savory Pork Longganisa, Breakfast Beef Tapa, Classic Chicken or Pork Tocino, and Lean Chicken Sausage at any of your favorite IHOP branches: W Global Center, Bonifacio Global City; UP Town Center, Katipunan Avenue; or at SM Mall of Asia. Two more branches will open this summer: Century Mall and Filinvest in Alabang with six more locations in Metro Manila within the year.
"With IHOP's enthusiastic approval, we're proudly introducing a menu that expands our appeal just as we're expanding our locations, said Archie Rodriguez, President and CEO of Global Restaurant Concepts, Inc. The company is the Philippine partner of IHOP Restaurants.
"As a global brand but a local business, our goal is to bring our guests both the classic breakfast items that have made IHOP famous around the world as well as menu items that celebrate and appeal to the appetites of our guests," said Daniel del Olmo, President, International DineEquity, Inc. "These new items bring our guests the best that IHOP has to offer with delicious dishes that are unique to the Philippines and truly brings the best of both our culinary cultures to our guests."
In addition, four new ice cream parfait flavors that are co-created with Nestle Ie Cream will be introduced for the summer: Mango Peaches and Cream Parfait, Childhood Memories, Mixed Berry Parfait, and Chocolate Decadence, which features IHOP's own Butter Pecan Syrup. Other breakfast innovations like the Brioche French Toast, omelettes, breakfast samplers, and crepes will be available for the summer.
