Milan Cathedral is the cathedral church of Milan, Italy. Dedicated to Santa Maria Nascente (Saint Mary Nascent), it is the seat of the Archbishop of Milan, currently Cardinal Angelo Scola.
The Gothic cathedral took nearly six centuries to complete. It is the fourth largest cathedral in the world and the largest in the Italian state territory.
Thus is the description from Wikipedia. I've seen pictures of the Milan Cathedral before but actually seeing it for the first time (at night, pictures of that coming soon) is so much better and awe-inspiring.
The pictures here are from the tiring climb to the top of the Milan Cathedral but trust me when I say that it's totally worth it. There's an entrance fee though, 7 Euro if you climb the 900 or so steps and 12 Euro if you want to use the elevator. Took the stairs of course and again, totally worth it. :)
