Over lunch at the Old Swiss Inn in Makati early this week, Sheree Gotuaco and Katty Roxas-Chua Qua showed me Solo's latest collection, the Larry Alcala-inspired series.
I know Alcala for his "Slice of Life" cartoons, which I would always check out on the pages of the Weekend Magazine even when I was younger. Anyway, more on that when my story for the Philippine Daily Inquirer comes out.
Right now, I'd like to share pics of the shirt for men and the unisex watch that are already available at Solo branches.
As with sister brand Freeway' National Artist series, the quality of the shirt is incredible. I've first to wear the watch but from the looks of it, it's put together quite well.
And for those who have aspirations of being models, Solo continues its successful Online Model Search but this time, participants should wear any one (or maybe multiple?) item and submit their entry from August 22 to November 15. Entries may use the graphic elements available in the contest website www.solo.com.ph/modelsearch and I guess the more votes an entry has, the better its chances of winning.
Solo is on Facebook, search for "Solo Online" and on Twitter.com/mySoloOnline
