"Have you heard of Hadar?" -Maryna Rakhlei, journalist, Belarus
Hadar is a community in Haifa, Israel where bohemian artists, musicians, writers, and the likes are free to express themselves.

The first thing I noticed when our group went there were these artworks that can be commonly found in most walls.

We stumbled upon of the artists who's part of a group that create these graffiti art and he explained to us that they don't paint on private buildings.

On condition of anonymity, the artist explained that before they started to do these wall arts, the neighborhood of Hadar used to be very plain and boring.

We then asked some of the residents of the area and asked whether they liked the artworks. Most of those we spoke to--both young and adult--said that they actually appreciated the artworks, adding that they see no harm in them as long as they do not offend anybody and it actually makes Hadar unique in its own way.
